How To Use Our Search Engine To Perform A Search

You may search for any character, word or number within the seven fields of a record.
First select the field by clicking on the corresponding radio button and then enter the text you are looking for inside the
Search Criteria field.

This search method allows for "Wildcard Searching" which means that if you enter the letters ock you will get results for all the words that contain these three letters in that order (ie. Rock, Rockfield), Fra will yeild (Franklyn, Frank, Fra), and the number 35 would give you any combination of (10/1935, 1935, 35), etc.  You can also search by Occupation, Honors, Organizations or Title in the "Miscellaneous" field.  You can also search for war veterans by using the keywords (WW, War, Army, etc) in the "Miscellaneous" field.  Use the keyword "PIC" in the "Miscellaneous" field to search for Obituaries that include a picture.  If you're not sure, just try any word in the "Miscellaneous" field to find who or what you are looking for.

To browse through the results of your search, click on the button and then continue by clicking on the button. Each time, your database will jump to the record that matches your Search Criteria. Once you reach the end of your search, you may go in reverse by clicking on the button.

Click on the "View Obituary" button to view the scanned image of the obituary .

TIP: The default setting for our database begins with the "Last Name" field selected.  To jump to a specific person quickly,  enter the person's last name in the "Search Criteria" field and click "Find First."

We hope that you find our database useful and we welcome any and all comments.

Please wait while the database loads.  Unlike other search engines that need to reload for each query, once our database is loaded, all your searches will be immediate.   Please report any errors to the Webmaster.

If the database image should become distorted, just minimize then maximize your browser to restore the image.
